Though, your reasoning makes sense

TB 102.6.1 (64-bit)
AHT 8.1.5
It would be great if AHT had Exception list, where all emails from particular address would be displayed in HTML (either basic or original).
Motivation: my bank send me account updates and they include valuable information (date/ammount/merchan) in HTML part and plain-text part only says "your client doesn't support html"... (which is beyond stupid as it's virtually all-text notification without any formatting or images...)
> The screen video is a good idea, but unfortunately I don't see the content of the email, which would be helpful to see the change in display (HTML versus plain text).
Well, I couldn't show complete email unfortunately. In a nutshell: the mail was displayed in HTML, statusbar said "original HTML" but it's context menu had selected "Plain text". Only after clicking on Plain Text it went back to actual plain text.
Didn't logs share any information about the issue?
The issue itself is quite odd as frequency of it's procurance is quite uneven - sometimes it happens only once in a couple of days, other time it's almost every couple of minutes/hours.
OK, it happened again and I managed to grab the logs (see attached: console-export-2022-1-24_11-25-16.txt) and noticed weird thing - in the status bar I saw "Original HTML" and upon right-clicking it said "Plain text" and only after re-cliking on "Plain text" it went back to that mode:
You've to enable the notifications:
Weird, I didn't find this page before. Though, even though I din't have email notifications enabled there I got notification bout your subsequent message. I enabled it now, thanks.
4 weeks later - any news on this?
It happened once but I was kinda in a hurry and couldn't gather the logs. It seems it happens less often recently, which is somewhat odd.

What's more - those are not *encrypted*, only *signed* messages.
I've tried the new version and it seems to be working ok -- even signed messages are detected correctly. Thanks!
Um Rückfragen vorzubeugen, bitten wir um folgende Angaben:
Hi, appologies for writing in English but my German knowledge is utterly basic (ja/nein/retchts/links…)
I love the above extension and it works great in the past years. However, recently I've noticed that it doesn't detect correctly HTML part if the message has Content-Type: multipart/signed; instead of usual Content-Type: multipart/alternative;
Would it be possible to handle HTML messages that are also signed? Thunderbird can display them just fine if forced in the settings.
