Von PC auf Mac

    Hallo,

    ich habe grad einen MacBook gekauft und will TB auch hier benutzen, damit ich die Emails von meinem alten PC-Laptop auch verwenden kann. Also habe ich die Version 2.0.0.6 (20070728) runtergeladen und installiert aufm Mac - alles in Ordnung.

    Meine Frage ist aber: gibt es eine Möglichkeit, alle Email-Konten und ihren darin enthaltenen Ordnern auf einem Schlag von PC auf Mac zu kopieren, dass ich sofort nur noch auf Mac arbeiten kann, ohne irgendeine Email vom PC zu vermissen?

    Ich habe 3 Email-Konten und darunter ziemlich viele Ordnern.

    Hab gefunden, und es funz!

    1) Installed T-bird on the Mac.
    2) Allowed it to walk me through the setup of one account.
    3) Closed Thunderbird.
    4) Copied profiles.ini from the Windows install to the Apple install, replacing the one created when T-bird was installed on the Mac.
    5) Copied the entire Profiles folder from the Windows install to the Apple install, replacing the one created when T-bird was installed on the Mac.
    6) Aside from losing the passwords it seems to work fine.
