Porting data did not work on laptop properly

    Um Rückfragen vorzubeugen, bitten wir um folgende Angaben:

    • Thunderbird-Version: 6.0
    • Betriebssystem + Version: Win7
    • Kontenart (POP / IMAP):
    • Postfach-Anbieter (z.B. GMX):
    • Eingesetzte Antiviren-Software:
    • Firewall (Betriebssystem-intern/Externe Software):
    • Router-Modellbezeichnung (bei Sende-Problemen):

    Diese Worte hier können Sie mit Ihrem Text bitte überschreiben.

    I had ported once before on old desktop and had worked perfectly. Old desktop now defunkt. Saved data before it finally crashed. Porting same way to Laptop did not work. Using a work around to use Thunderbird as follows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe -profile C:\Users\mimesis\Desktop\Thunderbird\Profiles\5xymj1bl.default.

    How do I proceed to get Thunderbird to work poperly? Also to export the entire email accounts (file in system? or file on desktop?)

    Maybe the use of the English speaking Forums MozillaZine would be a good Idea for general Thunderbird questions ;).
