Keyboard no longer works after update to v3.2.5

TBird: 91.8.x

OS: Linux Kubuntu 21.10/22.04

QC version: 3.2.5

The recent change to 3.2.5 seems to have prevented me using PageUp and PageDown keys to scroll through a message.

Also, the Delete key no longer deletes the current message.

If I disable this add-on those keys work.

Previous versions were OK. (I've got auto-update set, so was presumably on 3.2.4 before).

Just went back to 3.2.4 and can confirm that that version is OK with the keyboard keys.

Hmm...I may have misinterpreted the problem.

It now seems as though the problem is that the keys stop working if the message is in text/plain format rather than text/html.

I have a whole set of backup reports each morning that are all text/plain (actually they are multipart/mixed, with text/plain components) and it's these where the keys stop working.

And 3.2.4 seems to be the same as 3.2.5 there.

Just toggling Quote Colors on/off makes them fail/work.

No. That assessment was wrong.

Something really odd happening.

I can be getting thorough my message with PgDown, ..., Delete, PgDown, ... Delete. All is OK.

Then the keys stop having any effect.

The only consistent thing is that if I then disable QuotColors the keys start to work again.

I tried disabling other add-ons at this point, but that made no difference - only disabling QuoteColors re-enabled the key bindings.

It does always seem to be multipart messages involved (either /mixed or /alternative, but no consistency as to which works and which doesn't).

It appears to be that if the message is more than ~twice the length of text required to fit the reading pane the problem occurs?

Well, some good news...

Having thought that 3.2.4 was OK I'd left that in and stopped updates. Since I then found I had problems there too I've just turned updates back an and 3.2.7 is now in.

This seems to be OK.

I'll run with it for a few days to see if things stay this way.

And the good news is that it now seems to be OK!

I've not noticed any issue for the last 3 days (with 3.2.7). That little binding tweak seems to have worked.
